Position Overview
The Tool Crib Attendant will stock general tooling and safety supplies, schedule tooling purchases for TCR for all manufacturing departments, and the organization of tooling and paperwork for the ACME, and Browne & Sharpe departments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities/Key Responsibilities/Key Duties
  • Coordinate tooling needs per shop schedule.
  • Requisition safety supplies, replacement parts, tooling and hardware as needed to maintain adequate stock.
  • Check tooling in and out of room.
  • Requisitions purchase of tools for production.
  • Provide accurate reporting of tool availability.
  • Participate in all company training.
  • Adhere to all safety policies.
  • Maintain good housekeeping in the department.
Desired and/or Required Skills and Experience
  • High school diploma plus one to two years related experience.
  • Good organizational and computer skills.
  • Ability to work at a fast pace to meet customer demands.
  • Maintain good communication with department lead.
