Position Overview
The Acme Machine Operator Trainee is responsible for learning how to run machined parts of the highest quality in the most efficient manner obtained.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities/Key Responsibilities/Key Duties
  • Run and monitor machined parts on machines already setup to customer specification.
  • Follow daily maintenance procedures and document.
  • Inspect parts in process to insure customer requirements.
  • Adhere to all safety policies.
  • Maintain good housekeeping in the department.
  • Report safety violations to manager.
  • Participate in all company trainings.
Desired and/or Required Skills and Experience
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Attain forklift certification.
  • One to two years experience in a similar manufacturing environment.
  • Maintain good communication with department lead.
  • Keep department safe, clean and organized.
  • Maintain a positive working environment within all departments.
  • Work at a fast pace and able to adjust schedule to meet customer demands.
